Another magnificent waterfall, Vazhachal, is only 5 kilometers away from this one.

● After that, pay a visit to Kundala Dam (additional cost). Here, you may see the famed Neela Kurunji flowers, which only bloom every twelve years in the hills and valleys surrounding Kundala Lake.
● Visit Pothamedu View Point and Echo Point en route. Due to its extensive greenery, Echo Point always has a greenish appearance. ● Hekkady is regarded as a paradise for organic spices. One of India's best wildlife sanctuaries is the Periyar forests in Thekkady. Periyar has a 777 sq km area and a 26 sq km artificial lake.
● Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in. Later, depart for a sightseeing excursion to view the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to herds of wild elephants, sambar deer, tigers, gaurs, lion-tailed macaques, Nilgiri langurs, and more (tickets not included). Although the location occasionally has a Disneyland-in-the-Ghats vibe, the mountain vistas and forest hikes make for a pleasant visit. Enjoy a boat ride in the lake in the evening to look for wildlife (at an additional cost). Hotel overnight stay.

● Check out of the hotel and head towards Kochi after breakfast. Visit Fort Cochi once you arrive in Kochi. Take a stroll and observe the hung Chinese fishing nets first used in the 14th century by traders from Kublai Khan's court. The fishermen of Kochi still use these fishing nets.
● Take a trip to St. Francis Church, India's first European church. At Mattancherry Palace, you can wrap up your tour. The Portuguese constructed it and gave it to the Kochi Raja in 1555. The palace is renowned for its breathtaking murals depicting Hindu myth scenes, including the Mahabharata and Ramayana. The Paradesi (sometimes spelled Pardesi) Synagogue, the oldest operating synagogue in South India, is right next door.
